Sarah Markel is relatively new to the writing scene. Her work features lesbian relationships in a family environment, typically including children in the lives of her characters. Her first three books, Mended Hearts, Mended Fences, and Beyond Expectations (Mended Hearts Series) focus on the lives of Alex Walker, Dr. Kelly Taylor, and their children. Always & Forever, her fourth book, is a crossover focusing on Dej Walker (daughter of Alex and Kelly from the Mended Hearts Series) and her wife, Carrie Parker. For Better or Worse, and Change of Plans, also focus on Dej and Carrie. Sarah also has three stand-alone works; Identity Crisis, Woman of my Dreams, and The Bet. Her newest work, The Confessor, is due out near the end of April. Sarah spends her time working full time in a restaurant, and watching as her two beautiful children continue to inspire her creativity. Sarah lives in Oregon with her 11-year-old son and 7-year-old daughter, both of whom were the inspiration for the characters of Zane and Dej.
