Mindela Ruby is the author of the novel, MOSH IT UP, which was praised as "a literary marvel" by Tim O'Brien, author of THE THINGS THEY CARRIED. Mindela also writes poetry, nonfiction, and micro-fiction, some of which has been published in print and online literary journals. She got a PhD in English from University of California and now teaches writing at a small college. She's a former punk rock disc jockey.
